5 benefits of animal fats that will blow your mind

ANIMAL FATS ARE GOOD FOR YOU!

How many times have you been told the complete opposite?? Too many, right?

Seriously, animal fats (saturated fats) are essential to living mammals.

Here’s why you need them in your family’s diet.

Animal fats naturally contains all these benefits:

1) Enhance your immune system.

 They have important fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K. And protect against cancer.

 

2) Important for your bones.

 Without saturated fats we cannot effectively absorb calcium for our bones.

 

3) Antimicrobial properties.

They protect the takeover of harmful bacteria in our gut.

 

4) Provide the building blocks for cell membranes.

 Cell membranes are what gives our joints stiffness and integrity.

 One study showed that calves fed skim milk develop joint stiffness and do not thrive. Once raw butterfat was added back to the diet, their symptoms were reversed.

 

5) Contains cholesterol.

 And guess what? That’s a good thing too! Cholesterol is also grossly misunderstood. It a precursor for hormone and vitamin related functions. It also is found in mothers’ milk because it is vital for babies’ brain and nervous system development.
